Notes that are not verse specific
Some have put some similarites forward that the queen of Sheba is prophetic of the Queen of England Elizabeth II.
We cannot of course be dogmatic but here is the similarities for you to decide.
Sheba = queen from south of Jerusalem- Queen Elizabeth II became queen at her holiday home in Nairobi upon the death of he father. Nairobi is south of Jerusalem.
Sheba will visit Christ when he returns to accept his rule. Luke 11:31Psa 45:12, Psa 72:10.
Royal navy will be destroyed Isa 23:12, Psa 48:7
Britain will help in restoring the Jews. Isa 60:9.
Speculation of course but a wonderful thought that a queen in her 80's will be on the throne when our master returns!

1. And when the queen <4436> of Sheba <7614> heard <8085>(8804) of the fame <8088> of Solomon <8010>, she came <935>(8799) to prove <5254>(8763) Solomon <8010> with hard questions <2420> at Jerusalem <3389>, with a very <3966> great <3515> company <2428>, and camels <1581> that bare <5375>(8802) spices <1314>, and gold <2091> in abundance <7230>, and precious <3368> stones <68>: and when she was come <935>(8799) to Solomon <8010>, she communed <1696>(8762) with him of all that was in her heart <3824>.
2. And Solomon <8010> told <5046>(8686) her all her questions <1697>: and there was nothing hid <5956>(8738) from Solomon <8010> which he told <5046>(8689) her not.
3. And when the queen <4436> of Sheba <7614> had seen <7200>(8799) the wisdom <2451> of Solomon <8010>, and the house <1004> that he had built <1129>(8804),
4. And the meat <3978> of his table <7979>, and the sitting <4186> of his servants <5650>, and the attendance <4612> of his ministers <8334>(8764), and their apparel <4403>; his cupbearers <8248>(8688) also, and their apparel <4403>; and his ascent <5944> by which he went up <5927>(8799) into the house <1004> of the LORD <3068>; there was no more spirit <7307> in her.
5. And she said <559>(8799) to the king <4428>, It was a true <571> report <1697> which I heard <8085>(8804) in mine own land <776> of thine acts <1697>, and of thy wisdom <2451>:
6. Howbeit I believed <539>(8689) not their words <1697>, until I came <935>(8804), and mine eyes <5869> had seen <7200>(8799) it: and, behold, the one half <2677> of the greatness <4768> of thy wisdom <2451> was not told <5046>(8717) me: for thou exceedest <3254>(8804) the fame <8052> that I heard <8085>(8804).
7. Happy <835> are thy men <582>, and happy <835> are these thy servants <5650>, which stand <5975>(8802) continually <8548> before <6440> thee, and hear <8085>(8802) thy wisdom <2451>.
8. Blessed <1288>(8803) be the LORD <3068> thy God <430>, which delighted <2654>(8804) in thee to set <5414>(8800) thee on his throne <3678>, to be king <4428> for the LORD <3068> thy God <430>: because thy God <430> loved <160> Israel <3478>, to establish <5975>(8687) them for ever <5769>, therefore made <5414>(8799) he thee king <4428> over them, to do <6213>(8800) judgment <4941> and justice <6666>.
9. And she gave <5414>(8799) the king <4428> an hundred <3967> and twenty <6242> talents <3603> of gold <2091>, and of spices <1314> great <3966> abundance <7230>, and precious <3368> stones <68>: neither was there any such spice <1314> as the queen <4436> of Sheba <7614> gave <5414>(8804) king <4428> Solomon <8010>.
10. And the servants <5650> also of Huram <2361>, and the servants <5650> of Solomon <8010>, which brought <935>(8689) gold <2091> from Ophir <211>, brought <935>(8689) algum <418> trees <6086> and precious <3368> stones <68>.
11. And the king <4428> made <6213>(8799) of the algum <418> trees <6086> terraces <4546> to the house <1004> of the LORD <3068>, and to the king's <4428> palace <1004>, and harps <3658> and psalteries <5035> for singers <7891>(8802): and there were none such <1992> seen <7200>(8738) before <6440> in the land <776> of Judah <3063>.
12. And king <4428> Solomon <8010> gave <5414>(8804) to the queen <4436> of Sheba <7614> all her desire <2656>, whatsoever she asked <7592>(8804), beside that which she had brought <935>(8689) unto the king <4428>. So she turned <2015>(8799), and went away <3212>(8799) to her own land <776>, she and her servants <5650>.
13. Now the weight <4948> of gold <2091> that came <935>(8804) to Solomon <8010> in one <259> year <8141> was six <8337> hundred <3967> and threescore <8346> and six <8337> talents <3603> of gold <2091>;
14. Beside that which chapmen <582> <8446>(8802) and merchants <5503>(8802) brought <935>(8688). And all the kings <4428> of Arabia <6152> and governors <6346> of the country <776> brought <935>(8688) gold <2091> and silver <3701> to Solomon <8010>.
15. And king <4428> Solomon <8010> made <6213>(8799) two hundred <3967> targets <6793> of beaten <7820>(8803) gold <2091>: six <8337> hundred <3967> shekels of beaten <7820>(8803) gold <2091> went <5927>(8686) to one <259> target <6793>.
16. And three <7969> hundred <3967> shields <4043> made he of beaten <7820>(8803) gold <2091>: three <7969> hundred <3967> shekels of gold <2091> went <5927>(8686) to one <259> shield <4043>. And the king <4428> put <5414>(8799) them in the house <1004> of the forest <3293> of Lebanon <3844>.
17. Moreover the king <4428> made <6213>(8799) a great <1419> throne <3678> of ivory <8127>, and overlaid <6823>(8762) it with pure <2889> gold <2091>.
18. And there were six <8337> steps <4609> to the throne <3678>, with a footstool <3534> of gold <2091>, which were fastened <270>(8716) to the throne <3678>, and stays <3027> on each side of the sitting <3427>(8800) place <4725>, and two <8147> lions <738> standing <5975>(8802) by <681> the stays <3027>:
19. And twelve <8147> <6240> lions <738> stood <5975>(8802) there on the one side and on the other upon the six <8337> steps <4609>. There was not the like made <6213>(8738) in any kingdom <4467>.
20. And all the drinking <4945> vessels <3627> of king <4428> Solomon <8010> were of gold <2091>, and all the vessels <3627> of the house <1004> of the forest <3293> of Lebanon <3844> were of pure <5462>(8803) gold <2091>: none were of silver <3701>; it was not any <3972> thing accounted <2803>(8737) of in the days <3117> of Solomon <8010>.
21. For the king's <4428> ships <591> went <1980>(8802) to Tarshish <8659> with the servants <5650> of Huram <2361>: every three <7969> years <8141> once <259> came <935>(8799) the ships <591> of Tarshish <8659> bringing <5375>(8802) gold <2091>, and silver <3701>, ivory <8143>, and apes <6971>, and peacocks <8500>.
22. And king <4428> Solomon <8010> passed <1431>(8799) all the kings <4428> of the earth <776> in riches <6239> and wisdom <2451>.
23. And all the kings <4428> of the earth <776> sought <1245>(8764) the presence <6440> of Solomon <8010>, to hear <8085>(8800) his wisdom <2451>, that God <430> had put <5414>(8804) in his heart <3820>.
24. And they brought <935>(8688) every man <376> his present <4503>, vessels <3627> of silver <3701>, and vessels <3627> of gold <2091>, and raiment <8008>, harness <5402>, and spices <1314>, horses <5483>, and mules <6505>, a rate <1697> year <8141> by year <8141>.
25. And Solomon <8010> had four <702> thousand <505> stalls <723> for horses <5483> and chariots <4818>, and twelve <8147> <6240> thousand <505> horsemen <6571>; whom he bestowed <3240>(8686) in the chariot <7393> cities <5892>, and with the king <4428> at Jerusalem <3389>.
26. And he reigned <4910>(8802) over all the kings <4428> from the river <5104> even unto the land <776> of the Philistines <6430>, and to the border <1366> of Egypt <4714>.
27. And the king <4428> made <5414>(8799) silver <3701> in Jerusalem <3389> as stones <68>, and cedar trees <730> made <5414>(8804) he as the sycomore trees <8256> that are in the low plains <8219> in abundance <7230>.
28. And they brought <3318>(8688) unto Solomon <8010> horses <5483> out of Egypt <4714>, and out of all lands <776>.
29. Now the rest <7605> of the acts <1697> of Solomon <8010>, first <7223> and last <314>, are they not written <3789>(8803) in the book <1697> of Nathan <5416> the prophet <5030>, and in the prophecy <5016> of Ahijah <281> the Shilonite <7888>, and in the visions <2378> of Iddo <3260> the seer <2374> against Jeroboam <3379> the son <1121> of Nebat <5028>?
30. And Solomon <8010> reigned <4427>(8799) in Jerusalem <3389> over all Israel <3478> forty <705> years <8141>.
31. And Solomon <8010> slept <7901>(8799) with his fathers <1>, and he was buried <6912>(8799) in the city <5892> of David <1732> his father <1>: and Rehoboam <7346> his son <1121> reigned <4427>(8799) in his stead.

1. Then he brought me back <7725>(8686) the way <1870> of the gate <8179> of the outward <2435> sanctuary <4720> which looketh <6437>(8802) toward the east <6921>; and it was shut <5462>(8803).
2. Then said <559>(8799) the LORD <3068> unto me; This gate <8179> shall be shut <5462>(8803), it shall not be opened <6605>(8735), and no man <376> shall enter <935>(8799) in by it; because the LORD <3068>, the God <430> of Israel <3478>, hath entered <935>(8804) in by it, therefore it shall be shut <5462>(8803).
3. It is for the prince <5387>; the prince <5387>, he shall sit <3427>(8799) in it to eat <398>(8800) bread <3899> before <6440> the LORD <3068>; he shall enter <935>(8799) by the way <1870> of the porch <197> of that gate <8179>, and shall go out <3318>(8799) by the way <1870> of the same.
4. Then brought <935>(8686) he me the way <1870> of the north <6828> gate <8179> before <6440> the house <1004>: and I looked <7200>(8799), and, behold, the glory <3519> of the LORD <3068> filled <4390>(8804) the house <1004> of the LORD <3068>: and I fell <5307>(8799) upon my face <6440>.
5. And the LORD <3068> said <559>(8799) unto me, Son <1121> of man <120>, mark <7760>(8798) well <3820>, and behold <7200>(8798) with thine eyes <5869>, and hear <8085>(8798) with thine ears <241> all that I say <1696>(8764) unto thee concerning all the ordinances <2708> of the house <1004> of the LORD <3068>, and all the laws <8451> thereof; and mark <7760>(8804) well <3820> the entering in <3996> of the house <1004>, with every going forth <4161> of the sanctuary <4720>.
6. And thou shalt say <559>(8804) to the rebellious <4805>, even to the house <1004> of Israel <3478>, Thus saith <559>(8804) the Lord <136> GOD <3069>; O ye house <1004> of Israel <3478>, let it suffice <7227> you of all your abominations <8441>,
7. In that ye have brought <935>(8687) into my sanctuary strangers <1121> <5236>, uncircumcised <6189> in heart <3820>, and uncircumcised <6189> in flesh <1320>, to be in my sanctuary <4720>, to pollute <2490>(8763) it, even my house <1004>, when ye offer <7126>(8687) my bread <3899>, the fat <2459> and the blood <1818>, and they have broken <6565>(8686) my covenant <1285> because <413> of all your abominations <8441>.
8. And ye have not kept <8104>(8804) the charge <4931> of mine holy things <6944>: but ye have set <7760>(8799) keepers <8104>(8802) of my charge <4931> in my sanctuary <4720> for yourselves.
9. Thus saith <559>(8804) the Lord <136> GOD <3069>; No stranger <1121> <5236>, uncircumcised <6189> in heart <3820>, nor uncircumcised <6189> in flesh <1320>, shall enter <935>(8799) into my sanctuary <4720>, of any stranger that is among <8432> the children <1121> of Israel <3478>.
10. And the Levites <3881> that are gone away far <7368>(8804) from me, when Israel <3478> went astray <8582>(8800), which went astray away <8582>(8804) from me after <310> their idols <1544>; they shall even bear <5375>(8804) their iniquity <5771>.
11. Yet they shall be ministers <8334>(8764) in my sanctuary <4720>, having charge <6486> at the gates <8179> of the house <1004>, and ministering <8334>(8764) to the house <1004>: they shall slay <7819>(8799) the burnt offering <5930> and the sacrifice <2077> for the people <5971>, and they shall stand <5975>(8799) before <6440> them to minister <8334>(8763) unto them.
12. Because they ministered <8334>(8762) unto them before <6440> their idols <1544>, and caused the house <1004> of Israel <3478> to fall <4383> into iniquity <5771>; therefore have I lifted up <5375>(8804) mine hand <3027> against them, saith <5002>(8803) the Lord <136> GOD <3069>, and they shall bear <5375>(8804) their iniquity <5771>.
13. And they shall not come near <5066>(8799) unto me, to do the office of a priest <3547>(8763) unto me, nor to come near <5066>(8800) to any of my holy things <6944>, in the most holy <6944> place: but they shall bear <5375>(8804) their shame <3639>, and their abominations <8441> which they have committed <6213>(8804).
14. But I will make <5414>(8804) them keepers <8104>(8802) of the charge <4931> of the house <1004>, for all the service <5656> thereof, and for all that shall be done <6213>(8735) therein.
15. But the priests <3548> the Levites <3881>, the sons <1121> of Zadok <6659>, that kept <8104>(8804) the charge <4931> of my sanctuary <4720> when the children <1121> of Israel <3478> went astray <8582>(8800) from me, they shall come near <7126>(8799) to me to minister <8334>(8763) unto me, and they shall stand <5975>(8804) before <6440> me to offer <7126>(8687) unto me the fat <2459> and the blood <1818>, saith <5002>(8803) the Lord <136> GOD <3069>:
16. They shall enter <935>(8799) into my sanctuary <4720>, and they shall come near <7126>(8799) to my table <7979>, to minister <8334>(8763) unto me, and they shall keep <8104>(8804) my charge <4931>.
17. And it shall come to pass, that when they enter <935>(8800) in at the gates <8179> of the inner <6442> court <2691>, they shall be clothed <3847>(8799) with linen <6593> garments <899>; and no wool <6785> shall come <5927>(8799) upon them, whiles they minister <8334>(8763) in the gates <8179> of the inner <6442> court <2691>, and within <1004>.
18. They shall have linen <6593> bonnets <6287> upon their heads <7218>, and shall have linen <6593> breeches <4370> upon their loins <4975>; they shall not gird <2296>(8799) themselves with any thing that causeth sweat <3154>.
19. And when they go forth <3318>(8800) into the utter <2435> court <2691>, even into the utter <2435> court <2691> to the people <5971>, they shall put off <6584>(8799) their garments <899> wherein they ministered <8334>(8764), and lay <3240>(8689) them in the holy <6944> chambers <3957>, and they shall put <3847>(8804) on other <312> garments <899>; and they shall not sanctify <6942>(8762) the people <5971> with their garments <899>.
20. Neither shall they shave <1548>(8762) their heads <7218>, nor suffer their locks <6545> to grow long <7971>(8762); they shall only <3697>(8800) poll <3697>(8799) their heads <7218>.
21. Neither shall any priest <3548> drink <8354>(8799) wine <3196>, when they enter <935>(8800) into the inner <6442> court <2691>.
22. Neither shall they take <3947>(8799) for their wives <802> a widow <490>, nor her that is put away <1644>(8803): but they shall take <3947>(8799) maidens <1330> of the seed <2233> of the house <1004> of Israel <3478>, or a widow <490> that had a priest <3548> before.
23. And they shall teach <3384>(8686) my people <5971> the difference between the holy <6944> and profane <2455>, and cause them to discern <3045>(8686) between the unclean <2931> and the clean <2889>.
24. And in controversy <7379> they shall stand <5975>(8799) in judgment <8199>(8800); and they shall judge <8199>(8799) it according to my judgments <4941>: and they shall keep <8104>(8799) my laws <8451> and my statutes <2708> in all mine assemblies <4150>; and they shall hallow <6942>(8762) my sabbaths <7676>.
25. And they shall come <935>(8799) at no dead <4191>(8801) person <120> to defile <2930>(8800) themselves: but for father <1>, or for mother <517>, or for son <1121>, or for daughter <1323>, for brother <251>, or for sister <269> that hath had no husband <376>, they may defile <2930>(8691) themselves.
26. And after <310> he is cleansed <2893>, they shall reckon <5608>(8799) unto him seven <7651> days <3117>.
27. And in the day <3117> that he goeth <935>(8800) into the sanctuary <6944>, unto the inner <6442> court <2691>, to minister <8334>(8763) in the sanctuary <6944>, he shall offer <7126>(8686) his sin offering <2403>, saith <5002>(8803) the Lord <136> GOD <3069>.
28. And it shall be unto them for an inheritance <5159>: I am their inheritance <5159>: and ye shall give <5414>(8799) them no possession <272> in Israel <3478>: I am their possession <272>.
29. They shall eat <398>(8799) the meat offering <4503>, and the sin offering <2403>, and the trespass offering <817>; and every dedicated thing <2764> in Israel <3478> shall be theirs.
30. And the first <7225> of all the firstfruits <1061> of all things, and every oblation <8641> of all, of every sort of your oblations <8641>, shall be the priest's <3548>: ye shall also give <5414>(8799) unto the priest <3548> the first <7225> of your dough <6182>, that he may cause the blessing <1293> to rest <5117>(8687) in thine house <1004>.
31. The priests <3548> shall not eat <398>(8799) of any thing that is dead of itself <5038>, or torn <2966>, whether it be fowl <5775> or beast <929>.
Notes that are not verse specific
12:5 Whilst Judas suggested that the ointment should have been sold the other disciples agreed with him –Matt 26:8, Mark 14:4 – Clearly Judas was the instigator of the idea. The others simply followed his lead. How often are we led astray by others, or worse still lead others astray by the things we say?

1. Now <1161> a certain <5100> man was <2258>(5713) sick <770>(5723), named Lazarus <2976>, of <575> Bethany <963>, <1537> the town <2968> of Mary <3137> and <2532> her <846> sister <79> Martha <3136>.
2. <1161> (It was <2258>(5713) that Mary <3137> which <3588> anointed <218>(5660) the Lord <2962> with ointment <3464>, and <2532> wiped <1591>(5660) his <846> feet <4228> with her <848> hair <2359>, whose <3739> brother <80> Lazarus <2976> was sick <770>(5707).)
3. Therefore <3767> his sisters <79> sent <649>(5656) unto <4314> him <846>, saying <3004>(5723), Lord <2962>, behold <2396>, he whom <3739> thou lovest <5368>(5719) is sick <770>(5719).
4. When <1161> Jesus <2424> heard <191>(5660) that, he said <2036>(5627), This <3778> sickness <769> is <2076>(5748) not <3756> unto <4314> death <2288>, but <235> for <5228> the glory <1391> of God <2316>, that <2443> the Son <5207> of God <2316> might be glorified <1392>(5686) thereby <1223> <846>.
5. Now <1161> Jesus <2424> loved <25>(5707) Martha <3136>, and <2532> her <846> sister <79>, and <2532> Lazarus <2976>.
6. When <5613> he had heard <191>(5656) therefore <3767> that <3754> he was sick <770>(5719), he abode <3306>(5656) two <1417> days <2250> still <5119> <3303> in <1722> the same place <5117> where <3739> he was <2258>(5713).
7. Then <1899> after <3326> that <5124> saith he <3004>(5719) to his disciples <3101>, Let us go <71>(5725) into <1519> Judaea <2449> again <3825>.
8. His disciples <3101> say <3004>(5719) unto him <846>, Master <4461>, the Jews <2453> of late <3568> sought <2212>(5707) to stone <3034>(5658) thee <4571>; and <2532> goest thou <5217>(5719) thither <1563> again <3825>?
9. Jesus <2424> answered <611>(5662), Are there <1526>(5748) not <3780> twelve <1427> hours <5610> in the day <2250>? If <1437> any man <5100> walk <4043>(5725) in <1722> the day <2250>, he stumbleth <4350>(5719) not <3756>, because <3754> he seeth <991>(5719) the light <5457> of this <5127> world <2889>.
10. But <1161> if <1437> a man <5100> walk <4043>(5725) in <1722> the night <3571>, he stumbleth <4350>(5719), because <3754> there is <2076>(5748) no <3756> light <5457> in <1722> him <846>.
11. These things <5023> said <2036>(5627) he <846>: and <2532> after <3326> that <5124> he saith <3004>(5719) unto them <846>, Our <2257> friend <5384> Lazarus <2976> sleepeth <2837>(5769); but <235> I go <4198>(5736), that <2443> I may awake <1852> <0> him <846> out of sleep <1852>(5661).
12. Then <3767> said <2036>(5627) his <846> disciples <3101>, Lord <2962>, if <1487> he sleep <2837>(5769), he shall do well <4982>(5701).
13. Howbeit <1161> Jesus <2424> spake <2046>(5715) of <4012> his <846> death <2288>: but <1161> they <1565> thought <1380>(5656) that <3754> he had spoken <3004>(5719) of <4012> taking of rest <2838> in sleep <5258>.
14. Then <5119> <3767> said <2036>(5627) Jesus <2424> unto them <846> plainly <3954>, Lazarus <2976> is dead <599>(5627).
15. And <2532> I am glad <5463>(5719) for <1223> your sakes <5209> that <3754> I was <2252>(5713)(5625) <2258>(5713) not <3756> there <1563>, to the intent <2443> ye may believe <4100>(5661); nevertheless <235> let us go <71>(5725) unto <4314> him <846>.
16. Then <3767> said <2036>(5627) Thomas <2381>, which <3588> is called <3004>(5746) Didymus <1324>, unto his fellowdisciples <4827>, Let us <71> <0> also <2532> go <71>(5725), that <2443> we <2249> may die <599>(5632) with <3326> him <846>.
17. Then <3767> when Jesus <2424> came <2064>(5631), he found <2147>(5627) that he <846> had <2192>(5723) lain in <1722> the grave <3419> four <5064> days <2250> already <2235>.
18. Now <1161> Bethany <963> was <2258>(5713) nigh <1451> unto Jerusalem <2414>, about <5613> fifteen <1178> furlongs <4712> off <575>:
19. And <2532> many <4183> of <1537> the Jews <2453> came <2064>(5715) to <4314> Martha <3136> and <2532> Mary <3137> <4012>, to <2443> comfort <3888>(5667) them <846> concerning <4012> their <846> brother <80>.
20. Then <3767> Martha <3136>, as soon as <5613> she heard <191>(5656) that <3754> Jesus <2424> was coming <2064>(5736), went and met <5221>(5656) him <846>: but <1161> Mary <3137> sat <2516>(5711) still in <1722> the house <3624>.
21. Then <3767> said <2036>(5627) Martha <3136> unto <4314> Jesus <2424>, Lord <2962>, if <1487> thou hadst been <2258>(5713) here <5602>, my <3450> brother <80> <302> had <2348> <0> not <3756> died <2348>(5715).
22. But <235> I know <1492>(5758), that even <2532> now <3568>, whatsoever <3754> <3745> <302> thou wilt ask <154>(5672) of God <2316>, God <2316> will give <1325>(5692) it thee <4671>.
23. Jesus <2424> saith <3004>(5719) unto her <846>, Thy <4675> brother <80> shall rise again <450>(5698).
24. Martha <3136> saith <3004>(5719) unto him <846>, I know <1492>(5758) that <3754> he shall rise again <450>(5698) in <1722> the resurrection <386> at <1722> the last <2078> day <2250>.
25. Jesus <2424> said <2036>(5627) unto her <846>, I <1473> am <1510>(5748) the resurrection <386>, and <2532> the life <2222>: he that believeth <4100>(5723) in <1519> me <1691>, though <2579> he were dead <599>(5632), yet shall he live <2198>(5695):
26. And <2532> whosoever <3956> liveth <2198>(5723) and <2532> believeth <4100>(5723) in <1519> me <1691> shall <599> <0> never <3364> <165> die <599>(5632). Believest thou <4100>(5719) this <5124>?
27. She saith <3004>(5719) unto him <846>, Yea <3483>, Lord <2962>: I <1473> believe <4100>(5758) that <3754> thou <4771> art <1488>(5748) the Christ <5547>, the Son <5207> of God <2316>, which <3588> should come <2064>(5740) into <1519> the world <2889>.
28. And <2532> when she had <2036> <0> so <5023> said <2036>(5631), she went her way <565>(5627), and <2532> called <5455>(5656) Mary <3137> her <848> sister <79> secretly <2977>, saying <2036>(5631), The Master <1320> is come <3918>(5748), and <2532> calleth for <5455>(5719) thee <4571>.
29. As soon as <5613> she <1565> heard <191>(5656) that, she arose <1453>(5743) quickly <5035>, and <2532> came <2064>(5736) unto <4314> him <846>.
30. Now <1161> Jesus <2424> was <2064> <0> not yet <3768> come <2064>(5715) into <1519> the town <2968>, but <235> was <2258>(5713) in <1722> that place <5117> where <3699> Martha <3136> met <5221>(5656) him <846>.
31. The Jews <2453> then <3767> which <3588> were <5607>(5752) with <3326> her <846> in <1722> the house <3614>, and <2532> comforted <3888>(5740) her <846>, when they saw <1492>(5631) Mary <3137>, that <3754> she rose up <450>(5627) hastily <5030> and <2532> went out <1831>(5627), followed <190>(5656) her <846>, saying <3004>(5723), <3754> She goeth <5217>(5719) unto <1519> the grave <3419> to <2443> weep <2799>(5661) there <1563>.
32. Then <3767> when <5613> Mary <3137> was come <2064>(5627) where <3699> Jesus <2424> was <2258>(5713), and saw <1492>(5631) him <846>, she fell down <4098>(5627) at <1519> his <846> feet <4228>, saying <3004>(5723) unto him <846>, Lord <2962>, if <1487> thou hadst been <2258>(5713) here <5602>, my <3450> brother <80> had <302> not <3756> died <599>(5627).
33. When <5613> Jesus <2424> therefore <3767> saw <1492>(5627) her <846> weeping <2799>(5723), and <2532> the Jews <2453> also weeping <2799>(5723) which came <4905>(5631) with her <846>, he groaned <1690>(5662) in the spirit <4151>, and <2532> was troubled <5015>(5656) <1438>,
34. And <2532> said <2036>(5627), Where <4226> have ye laid <5087>(5758) him <846>? They said <3004>(5719) unto him <846>, Lord <2962>, come <2064>(5736) and <2532> see <1492>(5657).
35. Jesus <2424> wept <1145>(5656).
36. Then <3767> said <3004>(5707) the Jews <2453>, Behold <2396> how <4459> he loved <5368>(5707) him <846>!
37. And <1161> some <5100> of <1537> them <846> said <2036>(5627), Could <1410>(5711) not <3756> this man <3778>, which <3588> opened <455>(5660) the eyes <3788> of the blind <5185>, have caused <4160>(5658) that <2443> even <2532> this man <3778> should <599> <0> not <3361> have died <599>(5632)?
38. Jesus <2424> therefore <3767> again <3825> groaning <1690>(5740) in <1722> himself <1438> cometh <2064>(5736) to <1519> the grave <3419>. <1161> It was <2258>(5713) a cave <4693>, and <2532> a stone <3037> lay <1945>(5711) upon <1909> it <846>.
39. Jesus <2424> said <3004>(5719), Take ye away <142>(5657) the stone <3037>. Martha <3136>, the sister <79> of him that was dead <2348>(5761), saith <3004>(5719) unto him <846>, Lord <2962>, by this time <2235> he stinketh <3605>(5719): for <1063> he hath been <2076>(5748) dead four days <5066>.
40. Jesus <2424> saith <3004>(5719) unto her <846>, Said I <2036>(5627) not <3756> unto thee <4671>, that <3754>, if <1437> thou wouldest believe <4100>(5661), thou shouldest see <3700>(5695) the glory <1391> of God <2316>?
41. Then <3767> they took away <142>(5656) the stone <3037> from the place where <3757> the dead <2348>(5761) was <2258>(5713) laid <2749>(5740). And <1161> Jesus <2424> lifted <142>(5656) up <507> his eyes <3788>, and <2532> said <2036>(5627), Father <3962>, I thank <2168>(5719) thee <4671> that <3754> thou hast heard <191>(5656) me <3450>.
42. And <1161> I <1473> knew <1492>(5715) that <3754> thou hearest <191>(5719) me <3450> always <3842>: but <235> because <1223> of the people <3793> which <3588> stand by <4026>(5761) I said <2036>(5627) it, that <2443> they may believe <4100>(5661) that <3754> thou <4771> hast sent <649>(5656) me <3165>.
43. And <2532> when he thus <5023> had spoken <2036>(5631), he cried <2905>(5656) with a loud <3173> voice <5456>, Lazarus <2976>, come <1204>(5773) forth <1854>.
44. And <2532> he that was dead <2348>(5761) came forth <1831>(5627), bound <1210>(5772) hand <5495> and <2532> foot <4228> with graveclothes <2750>: and <2532> his <846> face <3799> was bound about <4019>(5718) with a napkin <4676>. Jesus <2424> saith <3004>(5719) unto them <846>, Loose <3089>(5657) him <846>, and <2532> let him <863>(5628) go <5217>(5721).
45. Then <3767> many <4183> of <1537> the Jews <2453> which <3588> came <2064>(5631) to <4314> Mary <3137>, and <2532> had seen <2300>(5666) the things which <3739> Jesus <2424> did <4160>(5656), believed <4100>(5656) on <1519> him <846>.
46. But <1161> some <5100> of <1537> them <846> went their ways <565>(5627) to <4314> the Pharisees <5330>, and <2532> told <2036>(5627) them <846> what things <3739> Jesus <2424> had done <4160>(5656).
47. Then <3767> gathered <4863>(5627) the chief priests <749> and <2532> the Pharisees <5330> a council <4892>, and <2532> said <3004>(5707), What <5101> do we <4160>(5719)? for <3754> this <3778> man <444> doeth <4160>(5719) many <4183> miracles <4592>.
48. If <1437> we let <863> <0> him <846> thus <3779> alone <863>(5632), all <3956> men will believe <4100>(5692) on <1519> him <846>: and <2532> the Romans <4514> shall come <2064>(5695) and <2532> take away <142>(5692) both <2532> our <2257> place <5117> and <2532> nation <1484>.
49. And <1161> one <1520> <5100> of <1537> them <846>, named Caiaphas <2533>, being <5607>(5752) the high priest <749> that same <1565> year <1763>, said <2036>(5627) unto them <846>, Ye <5210> know <1492>(5758) nothing at all <3756> <3762>,
50. Nor <3761> consider <1260>(5736) that <3754> it is expedient <4851>(5719) for us <2254>, that <2443> one <1520> man <444> should die <599>(5632) for <5228> the people <2992>, and <2532> that the whole <3650> nation <1484> perish <622>(5643) not <3361>.
51. And <1161> this <5124> spake he <2036>(5627) not <3756> of <575> himself <1438>: but <235> being <5607>(5752) high priest <749> that <1565> year <1763>, he prophesied <4395>(5656) that <3754> Jesus <2424> should <3195>(5707) die <599>(5721) for that <5228> nation <1484>;
52. And <2532> not <3756> for that <5228> nation <1484> only <3440>, but <235> that <2443> also <2532> he should gather together <4863>(5632) in <1519> one <1520> the children <5043> of God <2316> that were scattered abroad <1287>(5772).
53. Then <3767> from <575> that <1565> day <2250> forth they took counsel together <4823>(5668) for to <2443> put <615> <0> him <846> to death <615>(5725).
54. Jesus <2424> therefore <3767> walked <4043>(5707) no more <2089> <3765> openly <3954> among <1722> the Jews <2453>; but <235> went <565>(5627) thence <1564> unto <1519> a country <5561> near <1451> to the wilderness <2048>, into <1519> a city <4172> called <3004>(5746) Ephraim <2187>, and there <2546> continued <1304>(5707) with <3326> his <848> disciples <3101>.
55. And <1161> the Jews <2453>' passover <3957> was <2258>(5713) nigh at hand <1451>: and <2532> many <4183> went <305>(5627) out of <1537> the country <5561> up <1519> to Jerusalem <2414> before <4253> the passover <3957>, to <2443> purify <48>(5661) themselves <1438>.
56. Then <3767> sought they for <2212>(5707) Jesus <2424>, and <2532> spake <3004>(5707) among <3326> themselves <240>, as they stood <2476>(5761) in <1722> the temple <2411>, What <5101> think <1380>(5719) ye <5213>, that <3754> he will <2064> <0> not <3364> come <2064>(5632) to <1519> the feast <1859>?
57. Now <1161> both <2532> the chief priests <749> and <2532> the Pharisees <5330> had given <1325>(5715) a commandment <1785>, that <2443>, if <1437> any man <5100> knew <1097>(5632) where <4226> he were <2076>(5748), he should shew <3377>(5661) it, that <3704> they might take <4084>(5661) him <846>.
